If you are a slicer these will keep you more to the center and even a little left. I was even able to hit the longer irons (that's a 5 today) with good results. The ball works back to center as if you are working the ball, even though I know it was the club. A good or average stuck shot yields great results and I was often surprised at the end result when I know it was not a textbook swing. Found them to be about 10 to 15 yards shorter throughout the set, making distance control an issue until you get use to their tendencies. They are very easy to hit but like any iron, if you hit it fat or thin, that is the result you will get. It is very noticeable so if you have an issue with that recommend graphite shafts. The Hogans are solid clubs, however, they are heavier than most. Was playing with King Cobra SS Oversize irons, which are some years old so decided to get some irons that are only a few years old. Shafted with the Apex regular flex (#3)steel shafts.
